Welcome

The Women, Religion and Globalization project is exploring the interaction between women’s religious practices and political, economic and social developments in the global arena. The project will help policy analysts and scholars of international affairs learn to see women practicing religion as politically significant agents.

We believe that a better understanding of the political, economic, and social significance of such practices especially when they are religiously-inflected will deepen our comprehension of what motivates and funds social, economic, and political interactions at the international level.
